Numbers along each row and column say how many filled runs the line holds, and in what order. Work out which cells are filled and a picture comes out.
Never A Guess
Every board is generated on your phone and then checked: the app solves it using only moves that are forced — true in every arrangement that still fits — and throws the board away if that is not enough. So a board you cannot finish is a board you have not finished, not a board that needed a coin flip.
Boards Worth Solving
Solvable is not the same as interesting. A board also has to be between 30% and 70% filled, with almost no empty lines, or it solves as bookkeeping rather than deduction. The generator keeps looking until it finds one.
Hints That Name The Move
"In row 4, the 4 is long enough to overlap itself wherever it sits — 2 cells follow." Marking them in is a second, separate tap, so asking for help leaves you knowing the technique.
How It Plays
• Three sizes: 5×5, 10×10 and 15×15, all open from the first launch • Fill or cross — one toolbar switch, no eraser to hunt for • A cross is your own note and is never counted wrong • Finished lines cross themselves out, and their clues dim • Unlimited undo
What It Doesn't Do
No ads. No lives. No energy meter. No waiting. No streak that punishes a missed day. No account. No analytics. No network requests of any kind — the app has no networking code in it at all, and that is checked automatically every time it is built.
